Sky’s the Limit: Keeley Bird Takes the Plunge to Raise Money for Suffolk Mind

Keeley bird's quote about raising money for suffolk mind

On 14th June 2025, Keeley Bird, Recruitment Consultant at the Hales Jobs Bury St Edmunds branch, will be skydiving from 13,000 feet to raise money and awareness for the mental health charity and support its vital work.

Suffolk Mind is dedicated to improving emotional wellbeing across the county. Their mission is to create an environment where people feel comfortable to talk about and take care of mental health. The charity offers a wide range of services including mental health training, counselling, supported living, and community programmes that build resilience and reduce isolation.

When asked about why she wanted to take on this challenge, Keeley shared: “At the start of the year, I was looking for something to do that would push me out of my comfort zone, and if jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet doesn’t do that, I don’t know what will!”

Keeley added: “Suffolk Mind is an incredible charity, and supporting mental health is something that sits close to my heart. Mental health should be treated just as strongly as our physical health, and if I can do anything to promote that, then I will. We have all experienced struggles with our mental health or know someone who has, and everyone should have access to support like Suffolk Mind provides.”

We wish Keeley the best of luck and commend her bravery as she takes on a sky-dive to raise money and awareness for mental health.
